SD28 --BC Literacy Foundations Lessons and Cottonwood House Historic Site

School District 28, Quesnel
Continuing & Adult Education

Cottonwood House Historic Site is a British Columbia Heritage Property. School District 28 (Quesnel) has run the Site as a youth and adult learning project since the year 2000.

Cottonwood House Historic Site was established in 1864 and has a rich history.

The lessons in this website are aligned with the Province of BC Literacy Foundations Curriculum and Courses; a curriculum for adults and youth.

The lessons are under-development and in draft form. From April 2011 to April 2012, it is our intent to develop ten lessons for each of the twenty-six Literacy Foundations Courses. Various staff at Continuing & Adult Education school are developing the lessons.

(The lessons are free for use in schools, to provide feedback call Ed Coleman, District Coordintor at (250)991-9034 or edcoleman@sd28.bc.ca)
