Wells Community School
School History
In 1934 the first one room school house was built in Wells. Prior to that the school sessions were held in someones living room. The original building was located where our present playground is, but was moved to the curling rink when the second school was built. In 1941, the final school was built. The second story of this school was built in 1949. The date of the additon of the gym is not known.
Mission Statement
The Mission of Wells Community School is to provide quality learning experiences in a safe and respectful environment where students are encouraged to reach their potential as responsible, productive members of society.
Values
At the Wells Community School we will include all age groups, respect each others' differences and try our best in all that we do.
