West Fraser Elementary
School History
West Fraser School opened as a two room school in September, 1961. West Fraser is located in a rural area, some 15 minutes from town. West Fraser School went from a two room school with no office, gym or library. A new wing and gym were added and renovations completed in 1983.

Mission Statement
The mission of West Fraser Elementary is to work together - staff, parents and students - to create an evironment which fosters the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical well-being of all children in our community. We will work toward developing each student's sense of responsibility and respect for himself/herself and others. We will strive to provide opportunities for each child to become a lifelong learner and to achieve his/her potential in a safe and nurturing environment.
