School History
Voyageur Elementary School was opened in 1974. Voyageur is a full-service neighborhood school which has enrolled as many as 320 students. The school currently enrols 270 students in grades K-7, in twelve divisions.

In January, 2004, West Fraser School was destroyed by fire and all students and staff were transferred to Voyageur for the remainder of the year. The decision to close West Fraser School permanently was made in June 2004. Most former West Fraser students continue to attend Voyageur School.

Voyageur prides itself on its work to meet the needs of all children through inclusion and planning for student success.
