School History
Quesnel Secondary School is fifty one years old. It stands in the heart of Quesnel on five acres in North Quesnel. Quesnel Secondary has an enrollment of 970 students from grade eight to grade twelve, including a French Immersion program, Academy of Tourism, and a Hockey Skills Academy. From the period of 1973 to 1981, Quesnel Secondary was a junior secondary school. The first graduating class in the "new era" was in 1984.

Vision
Quesnel Secondary School recognizes and attempts to meet the community's needs for a diversified learning centre where individual learners can work towards their potential. The staff offers challenging activities within a caring, stimulating environment. This setting encourages students to acquire knowledge and develop attitutudes and skills that will foster critical thinking, problem solving and positive human relations. Our programs and services are designed to help students enter society as independent, responsible confident adults who value life long learning.
